Projects

A selection of recent projects I've worked on.

Sevens Series Story Map

This was a fantastic project that combined two of my passions: rugby and mapping. It acts as a story map for the Sevens series circuit 2022. After a two-year break, the National Sevens Series Circuit returned to the rugby athletic calendar, and I thought it would be a good idea for my fellow rugby fans to get pound-for-pound updates and analysis during the series. Enjoy it as much as i did making it!!

Bike Mapping

A project looking into processing, cleaning, and visualizing huge open datasets, by exploring NYC Bike Share Data. Huge credits to Citi Bike System Data New York City, for publishing there bike rides data, this was used as a datasource for the project.
An interactive map depicting the most popular bike stations in 2018, 2019, and 2020. You can play about with the map and see what year you're interested in.

2021 #30DayMapChallenge

Taking part in this challenge provided me with an excellent opportunity to learn, experiment with different mapping approaches, tools, as well as convince/prove my cartographic skillset to myself (and possibly others) in the form of a portfolio.
Mapping tools and software’s used; QGIS, ArcGIS Pro, Python, Blender, Aerialod, and GIMP.
